“The Trip” suggests departure, a journey and a destination. The source material consists of night-time TV series stills divorced of any narrative.

“Remote in hand, I’m on a surreal safari, chasing the light. Maybe I’m documenting movement and interaction. Maybe, its all just hazy contrasts, incidental backgrounds and patterns that create their own narrative” says Ocholla.

“The Trip” was a solo exhibition of oil paintings at the World Art Gallery in 2014.
